More visiting...

I had fun playing with cousin Leah this afternoon at Nanny and Poppa's house.

I loved cuddling with Diana and was even up for almost an hour in her arms this afternoon.

I had some big stories for Aunt Tracey:)

I had a nice visit Sunday morning with Poppa Shirtliff. He brought coffee for Mom and Dad and Titan is continuing to act as my guard dog.

Saturday I had more visitors. Ben and Tierney Boucher brought me a cute Muskoka chair for my deck.

Matt and Adrienne Mackenzie came too and brought me some sleepers - with zippers - my Dad's favorite in the middle of the night:)

For my first outing (besides my doctor's appt) Nanny took Mommy and I out for lunch on Saturday. Then I had to have a big nap at Nanny's after because I was so tired from lunch and shopping in the afternoon.

Thanks Great Aunt Di and Great Grandma for my gym. I loved playing with it tonight for the first time.

Don't get too used to entertaining me lying down Uncle Jeff, I will be chasing you around in no time!

Uncle Jeff and I had to have a big nap after our play. Mommy and Daddy are hoping that he tired me out! We will see tonight!!

After a fun afternoon at Nanny's I slept from 3:30 until my Mom woke me up at 7!!! This eating and sleeping is a lot of work!!

Cuddling with Cousin Elizabeth . I was pretty relaxed this afternoon and enjoyed being spoiled.

Nanny came over today and Mom and I went for our first outing since we've been home from the hospital. We went over to Nanny's and had a nice visit with Great Aunt Joanne and cousin Elizabeth.

Dad gave me my first bath at home on Monday night. Even though I cried the entire time it felt so nice after when Dad and I cuddled and we let Mom sleep for 3 consecutive hours...Mom was soooo happy.

I had a nice visit on Monday night with my cousins Keegan and Ethan. I'm going to have fun trying to keep up to them.

Aunt Tracey stopped by Monday to drop off dinner for my parents and I had to thank her for letting us borrow Leah's swing. I loved it today and it allowed my parents to get some things done around the house.

Titan was trying to catch me on the swing. He loves to sniff around me and lay beside me. I think we are going to be great friends.

Nanny and Poppa stopped by too and took turns cuddling with me. I'm so glad to be settling at home meeting everyone.

Poppa and I had a nice visit. I was actually awake for a few minutes.

Uncle Jeff came by to see how I was doing and we ended up having a little nap so my Dad had to make him supper. I'm thinking he will make a great baby sitter:)

This is my most favorite sleeping position ever. Dad is the best cuddler. Here we are at home Sunday afternoon watching my first NASCAR race. I am learning from the best how to watch the race with my eyes closed snoring ljust ike my Dad.

Here are Mom and I ready to go home. Mom was really excited and looking forward to going home...I was exhausted from a busy morning of visits from Doctors and Nurses and my bath.

Dad gave me a bath at the hospital and even though I cried through the bath it felt nice when he bundled me up after and got Mom and I ready to go home. You can see Dad's diaper bag that Uncle Jeff bought him behind me:)

On Saturday night I found my thumb...I was sooo proud of myself.

Here I am Friday afternoon, just 24 hours old, catching some more Z's.

I was pretty relaxed. Here I am at 9:30pm the night I was born lying on Mom's bed catching some Z's.

After a very long day Daddy finally put me in Mommy's arms so we could have a cuddle and she could feed me.

Here I come...

While waiting for Mom to come from recovery I warmed up and peered at all my new family members from beyond the nursery.

Hello family and friends!

My name is Avery and I'm so excited to finally be here. I can't wait to meet everyone. Mommy has told me so much about you all.

I was born on Thursday March 19th, 2009 at 2:34pm. I weighed 8 lbs, 10 oz. Mommy will probably tell you all the story when she adds a post later.

Mommy and I are getting out of the hospital today, so stay tuned! Many more pictures and posts will come soon.
